Hit an exact file size for an exam or government form — free, in your browser.
Exam and government forms — SSC, UPSC, GPSC, IBPS, NEET, GSSSB and most online applications — often say your photo must be "between 20 KB and 50 KB" or "under 100 KB". A photo straight from a phone is usually 2–5 MB, far too big, so it gets rejected. Here is how to bring it down to the exact size the form wants, without the picture turning blurry.
It all happens inside your browser, so your photo is never uploaded anywhere.
Read the form carefully. Most forms say maximum 50 KB — any size up to 50 KB is fine, so "bring it under" is enough. A few forms insist the file is exactly a size, or at least a minimum (say "between 20 KB and 50 KB"). For those, use the exact-size option so the file lands on the number — a photo that is too small can be rejected too.
To stay sharp at a small size, crop out empty background first so the pixels are spent on your face, and keep the photo in JPG rather than PNG — JPG is far smaller for photos. If 50 KB makes it blurry, check whether the form also allows a smaller pixel size; a smaller width and height reaches the KB target with less quality loss.
Many forms also fix the pixel size (for example 200 × 230 px) along with the KB limit. The Photo & Signature Resizer lets you set both the pixels and the KB at once, which is what a passport-size or form photo needs. Use a plain light background and keep your face centred.
