IBPS asks for four scanned files in every application: a photograph, a signature, a left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration. Each has its own pixel size and KB range, and the form will not accept a file outside the range. These are the sizes commonly given in IBPS notifications:

UploadPixel sizeFile sizeResize
Photograph200 × 230 px20–50 KBOpen
Signature140 × 60 px10–20 KBOpen
Left thumb impression240 × 240 px20–50 KBOpen
Handwritten declaration800 × 400 px50–100 KBOpen

All files in JPG/JPEG. Check the notification of the exam you are applying for (on ibps.in) before uploading - it is the final word, and every value in the resizer can be changed.

Photograph

Use a recent colour passport-style photo on a light background, face looking straight at the camera, without a cap or dark glasses. Open the resizer set to the IBPS photo, choose the photo, crop so your face and shoulders fill the frame, and download - it comes out at 200 × 230 px between 20 and 50 KB.

Signature

Sign in black ink on plain white paper, in your normal handwriting - not in capital letters. Photograph or scan it, then use the signature setting with "Clean the paper" ticked, so the paper turns pure white and the ink stays sharp.

Left thumb impression

Press your left thumb on a blue or black ink pad and then on white paper. Scan or photograph it and use the thumb setting.

Handwritten declaration

Write the declaration text given in the notification, in English, in your own handwriting with black ink on white paper - not in capital letters. Scan it and use the declaration setting (800 × 400 px, 50–100 KB). Copy the exact wording from your notification; it is checked.
