Lots of offices and online forms ask for the front and back of your Aadhaar card on one page — or both sides of a PAN card, licence or any ID. Instead of printing two separate photos, you can join them into a single image or PDF in a minute, free, without any app.

The quick way

  1. Take a clear photo of the front and a photo of the back (or scan both).
  2. Open the free Merge Images tool.
  3. Add both photos and choose top-and-bottom (one above the other) — the usual look for an ID.
  4. Download the combined image. Done.

Everything happens inside your browser, so your ID photos are never uploaded anywhere.

Want it as a PDF?

If the form asks for a PDF rather than an image, put both photos into one PDF with Image to PDF — add the front and back and you get a single file with a page each, or one page if you combined them first.

Make it the right size

If the form has a size limit (say under 200 KB), compress the combined image with Compress Image, or the PDF with Compress PDF. Keep the text on the card readable — don't shrink it so far that the Aadhaar number blurs.

A note on privacy

Your Aadhaar is sensitive. Because these tools work inside your browser, your card images are not sent to any server. Still, only share your Aadhaar where it is genuinely required, and mask the number if the office allows it.

Yes. It works for any two photos - both sides of a PAN card, licence, voter ID or any document.

No. Merge Images and Image to PDF work inside your browser, so your card images never leave your device.

Compress it: use Compress Image for a picture or Compress PDF for a PDF, but keep the card's text readable.
